At this years TV FESTIVAL the formats THE BLACK BOX and SEX ACADEMY won 1st prizes! Both formats are developed by TV2 World.

The jury said:
“The best innovation of the year is school TV at its best. Basically it is about survival of mankind. The style is maybe not so new. The students are taught by good old, well-known principles. The couples are involved in the education and their experiences are ours – the viewers – entrance to the tasks. Even though the subject is so important in our lives no one had so far succeeded in dealing with the subject with such tenderness, humour and most of all: honesty. You can safely say: You have never seen school-TV like this before.”

The jury said: “This year’s winner series has done what most of us fear: To raise the deeply private drama to the TV screen. How can you do that without turning in to emotional porn or tabloid journalism? The answer is given by the directors of this programme. You do it by listening to your own ethical guts and by respecting those taking part – whether they are dead or alive. Then you supply with a solid narrative style, a great interaction between style and content and a sense of the elementary exciting story. That’s how you make the private universal and the universal to actual drama”
